A three-bedroom gîte in SW France

We are midway between Cordes-sur-ciel and Najac, both of which feature in any good guide book, 45 minutes north of Albi and 90 minutes from Toulouse (and its airport). In between is the Gaillac wine region. Rodez airport is slightly closer. We are on the borders of three departments: Tarn, Tarn et Garonne and Aveyron. The landscape consists of medieval hilltop villages, castles, gorges, hidden valleys, rivers, forests, vineyards and sunflowers.

How to get here

By car:
If you drive, you will be able to find your way to Laguépie if coming from the north, or Mirandol, if coming from the south. We will give you instructions and maps for the final few kilometres. Our visitors have usually driven from the channel ports, but you can also drive from Spain if you take a ferry to the north coast.

By air:
The nearest airports are Toulouse and Rodez both about 90mins away. There are a number of cheap flights available with Ryanair, Easyjet and British Airways. Cars can be hired at either airport.

By train:
Motor rail is a possibility if you want to transport your own car – get off at Brive (in the middle of the night) or Toulouse (at breakfast time).
